About the TUF (8mm to 16mm)
High-tenacity 3-strand twisted rope in HDPE / polypropylene monofilament, used to suspend and lower submersible pumps in borewells and hold them safely in place. Water-resistant and non-absorbent, it resists rot, UV and most chemicals, and stays light while carrying high loads. Diameters 8–16 mm, supplied in coils.
